Over the years, the painful expression of the victim’s parents often appears in Shi Kuanyi’s mind. Although the case has been eight years, Shi Kuanyi has always been staring at it, often looking for clues near the scene and analyzing and studying the case with colleagues.

Hard work pays off. The rape case was successfully compared with the DNA of a theft case. Later, through technical means, it was found that Li, a villager in seven central communities in Xiangshui County, was suspected of committing a major crime. The rape of a young girl eight years ago was successfully solved, and more than 40 series of theft cases were jointly solved.

When the suspect was ready to abandon the car and flee, he ignored the pain and captured it with his comrades who arrived. In 2012, the underworld criminal group headed by Yan was entrenched in Xiangshui for many years, with many people and cruel means, certain economic power and social background, openly clamoring with the government and confronting the police. Gang member Sun Moumou and others openly threatened to "sentence me to death if I have the ability, or I will come out to find your family trouble!" In the face of threats, Shi Kuanyi was undaunted. He led the police and criminals to fight bravely and struggled hard, and finally successfully arrested the No.1 and No.2 figures in the case, such as Yan and Wang. In the process of handling the case, someone came to the door to give a gift, hoping that he would help to bend the rules. Shi Kuanyi flatly refused: "To accept it is to sell your soul, and the soul of a people’s policeman is priceless."
