As "the only car company in the world that has completed the intelligent layout of global AI", Geely Automobile finally officially announced its solution for the popularization of intelligent driving, becoming the third independent car company to popularize high-level intelligent driving after Changan and BYD.

At the Geely AI Intelligent Technology Conference held on March 3, Geely officially released the intelligent driving system with a distance of thousands of miles, and announced that all new products of Geely Galaxy in the future will be equipped with a distance of thousands of miles, realizing equal rights in intelligent driving and safety.

At the same time, Geely also announced that from now on, the Geely Galaxy series will be officially upgraded to the Geely Galaxy brand, and the Galaxy Wing will be merged into the Geely Galaxy brand, becoming the high-end electric MPV series of Geely Galaxy.

Coupled with the geometry and radar previously incorporated, this means that Geely Galaxy, which was born only two years ago, has not only become a brand of new energy vehicles covering all categories such as cars, SUVs, MPVs and hard-core off-road, but also created explosive products such as Geely and Starship 7 EM-i in several market segments.

Driven by the intensive deployment of products and the continuous sharpening of brand value, the potential and competitiveness of Geely Galaxy are obviously not to be underestimated. Judging from the current competition pattern, perhaps the most competitive pressure for friends is an AI intelligent "equal rights" storm that Geely Galaxy is about to set off in the mainstream new energy market.

Computing power+data+algorithm, build a good technical base

"Because the scene in China is the most complicated, as long as the scene training of China is done for the big model, the scene anywhere in the world is not a problem." Gan Jiayue said that the key to China’s intelligent driving is AI+ intelligent driving.

"In the future, the iteration speed of smart driving will be very fast, and it may even be iterated in’ days’ a week, so it is still necessary to take the lead in computing power, algorithm and data troika."

In terms of computing power, the comprehensive computing power of Star Smart Computing Center reaches 23.5 EFLOPS, ranking first among China automobile enterprises.

On the data level, Geely has more than 7.5 million vehicles with L2-level intelligent driving capability, ranking first among car companies in China, and the actual driving data has accumulated to 10 billion kilometers.

At the algorithmic level, Geely’s AI Drive model can be combined with virtual and real scenes to improve the training efficiency of intelligent driving by 30 times.

As the focus of this AI intelligent technology release, Qianli Haohan is divided into five grades: H1, H3, H5, H7 and H9 according to the intelligent driving grade.

The entry-level version of H1 comes standard with more than 100TOPS computing power, and the whole system supports high-speed NOA and parking HPA. H3 comes standard with intelligent driving in urban areas, which is the key to promote equal rights of intelligent driving in urban areas.

H5 uses an end-to-end large model to support NOA and parking space-to-parking space in urban areas. H7 adds VLM and digital foresight network on the basis of H5, which can not only realize ONA in urban areas, but also realize VPD for parking and driving.

As the highest level, H9 has the architectural ability of L3 intelligent driving.

Guided by new technology, continue to fight the "value war"

In addition to releasing thousands of miles of intelligent driving, Geely Galaxy also released the 2025 Geely, with a limited-time first-enjoyment price of 149.8-199.8 million, which is 16,000 yuan lower than the starting price of the old model. The new car comes standard with intelligent driving function, among which the high-profile model is equipped with a laser radar, and the entry-level model can also realize high-speed NOA function through visual scheme.

In addition, models including Geely Galaxy E5, Galaxy Starship 7 EM-i, and Geely Xingyuan also announced the limited-time priority price in March.

Compared with the original price, the priority prices of these models are basically lowered by 3000-6000 yuan. It can be seen that Geely has made sufficient preparations for the fierce market price war, technology war and intellectual driving war in 2025.
